Coach Burleson comes to CCA from McKenzie High School where he has served as the Defensive Coordinator for the Tigers. Coach Burleson is a native of Georgiana, where he excelled both academically and athletically. The son of a coach, Coach Burleson was raised not only with a passion for competition, but also in striving for being the best you can in all facets of life. Coach Burleson attended and received his degree from Auburn University and began his career path in Hospitality Tourism and Management 2011. While enjoying a successful career, Coach Burleson’s passion for teaching students and the game of football soon led him back to the playing field- only as a coach. Previous to joining the McKenzie Tigers staff, Coach Burleson served as Director of Football Operations and Defensive Line Coach at W.S. Neal High School and also as Defensive Coordinator at Sparta Academy.
